Thanks rmorrison. I grew up in a small Kansas farm town so grain elevators were a way of life, and I like to photograph them. I even got a ride to the top of one years ago in my home town, scared the crap out of me.

Reminds me of the old Tidewater Grain elevator that was located at Girard point in South West Philadelphia. I believe it was demolished in 2007. Back in the mid to late 70's a close friend of mine was an engineer for the railroad that serviced the elevator. I remember spending many a night down there playing with a full scale train set, complete with diesel electric locomotives and big hopper cars. We even got to go on a tour of the elevator complex and since it was at night, it was really, really creepy.
