Omaha is rapidly demolishing old buildings and factories and replacing them with new facilities, which is probably a good thing but I am trying to document as many of the old buildings as I can. While out photographing a couple of old buildings a couple of days ago, I ran across this scene and thought it made a nice composition.
Nice composition. Very good perspective.

Good composition. It feels like a really "big" scene with that black sky and all those train cars leading up to those massive silos. Very nice. Good jog to use B&W.
Reminds me of the old Tidewater Grain elevator that was located at Girard point in South West Philadelphia. I believe it was demolished in 2007. Back in the mid to late 70's a close friend of mine was an engineer for the railroad that serviced the elevator. I remember spending many a night down there playing with a full scale train set, complete with diesel electric locomotives and big hopper cars. We even got to go on a tour of the elevator complex and since it was at night, it was really, really creepy.
Hear, hear on good photography; the triad done well.
