I do not find the need to have a tatoo on my body. I am not opposed to a small, discrete tat on any person. What really repulses me are those people who find it necessary to cover large areas of their bodies with "so-called art." I prefer to call it "graffiti".

Dz, why don't you call it whatever the person wearing it calls it, not what YOU think it should be called! If you don't know what they call it, just ask them and they'll be happy to tell you!
Many of these girls see their bodies as a canvas and do with it whatever they feel is good for them. They don't get tattoos because of what senior citizens think about it. They aren't looking for their grandfather's approvals or hang ups either.
I'm not sure why so many are so concerned how these young people will look like in 30 years. All he models j e talked to have planned their tattoos, often for months and some for years. They're Models, not drunken sailors!! LoL
Because we're afraid to make a decision that's permanent doesn't mean they are afraid of that decision. As if young people are too stupid to make a decision.
I said 40 years ago that there would be a President in the White House that would like Rock & Roll.
Well guess what...., it's only a matter of time and our President will have tattoos, as will many of our CEO's.
The world it changes, get used to it.
There's nothing wrong with girls with tattoos, what's wrong is the aversion some have to it but it's obviously a personal choice on their and our parts!!
And it's our choice to work with them or not.

birth marks are hot too. which is what tattoos turn into. to me they're a distraction. an insult to nature. why don't you go to ANY prison. there are PLENTY of tattoos there too.

You're right, everybody is entitled to give their opinions just as you have.
But I'm a little disappointed at your IN-THE-GUTTER insult!!! It's something you'd see in the attic!

I've been pretty surprised at how many have expressed a strong dislike of tattoos on women. Is that all women or just models?
Personally I think tattoos look beautiful, especially on a beautiful woman. But like all art, there is art that we like and art that we don't.
What's been implied by some is that it doesn't matter the tattoos, that they are not acceptable at all by some. That a woman must be inherently stupid to get a tattoo. My doctor is a womon and has a few tattoos(at least that I can see).
One of my goals is to start shooting Suicide Girls, simply because I love the look! One of my favorite Models is Leah Jung, and would love to shoot her some day!
So what is it that you don't like, or DO like about tattoos on models or women in general. What about on men?
Feel free to post some examples either way.
It's a brave new world out there.

Imagine this conversation in 20 years: "As a trusted sponsor, I'd like you to meet Shellie our new BBC Business Manager".

A few things , how old are you? I find that younger guys love them while older hate them. Next for those with tattoos , what color is your bedroom? are you tired of looking at the color, after a while you will be and you'll paint that room ( everybody does) with that Tat your stuck with it for ever.

There is a new ink for tats, its encapsulated ink ( i thin k thats what they call it) when you hit it with a laser it bursts the capsules and the color just vanishes. Much simpler than how they laser off most tats.
You hear nothing about that ink.

1950's guys had short hair, in the 60's guys had long hair and hated short hair, Guys from the 50's hated that long hair. eventually longhair was out and
short hair was back in. Now today, longhair for guys is coming back. with that in mind, im seeing children 6,7, 8 years old and they say they hate tats.
so tatas will be gone in a few years.

l hate em, I think they take away from the beauty of a woman naked or clothed. UNfortunately my 28 year old daughter has more that the tattoo lady that I saw in the circus when I was a kid.

Oh, and there's nothing I hate more than dating a guy with some other woman's name tattooed on him.

That goes both ways, how about a woman with a tattoo that says: "Pablo's slut" ...just in the wrong place too !

LoL, coyote, maybe you've slept with Pablo's Slut?!?!
And where exactly if the wrong place??? Com'n, get real.
If you're in prison and you don't have emblazoned on your back in 12" letters, " I'm Pablo's slut", you'll get killed!
I've never seen a model with that on her anywhere. And if that's what she wants, so what. Whether she's 18 or 80, so what, it's on her not on you! LoL

It's more common than you obviously believe, you should get out more, maybe.
As for what you say about prison I'll just have to take your word for that and hope to never find out for myself!

I should have known better than to talk to you !

As for Tattooed women, I suspect that in this passed 10/20 year period
when this Fad has occurred quite a few Tattoo Shops have made a fortune, judging from the
large number of tattooed people!
Also I would say some work is better than others, some fit some people and some don't,
it's all on a case by case basis and how you feel about it at the time......now as to taking it to
the Pearly Gates with you....I don't think you are even allowed to take ink with you.....maybe
trying for the other place where Lucifer resides is a better bet.!

I tend to find tattoos a distraction. Usually because they are not high quality (ask yourself if you think it will look good 25 years from now. ) Part of the problem is that they often cannot afford a quality piece of art.

Another aspect is that the placement of the tattoo is just wrong. Even if it were quality art, its location interferes with appreciation of the female form that is the canvas.
