Do you use a Wacom type tablet or are you using the mouse to accomplish this feat?

I use a Wacom tablet when I need to do fine work . On your photo I used the pen & tablet to apply the skin colors on the men . I only used my special Microsoft Trackball Explorer mouse to color the fire truck . This mouse allows me pretty good control of the cursor . You can check it out on the web , although it is hard to find one now since they don't make them any more . I did get a mouse with my Wacom tablet but you have to slide it around which makes it hard to have good control . My Microsoft Trackball I don't move at all , just roll the ball around to move the cursor .Hope this helps you understand my technique better .Tommy

Wow. That is impressive!

I am humble and I don't get a fat head when someone really likes my work . I know there is always room to get better . I do love a challenge , although I don't always succeed . I am touched that I was able to meet your satisfaction . I hope the photo will meet with the firemen's satisfaction too . I have a sister that is going on 30 yrs with a fire department , and I volunteer my equipment to plow the fire dept in the winter and any other jobs I can do with my equipment during the year . I also spent many years in the volunteer fire service, and appreciate what the volunteers sacrifice to provide service to the community.

I added two more different copies with different grills .I found out that some trucks came with black grill and bumper , and some came with chrome grill and bumper . I also tried rebuilding the siren on the fender . I posted these copies just in case my first copy had the grill wrong .Tommy

Kubota King, the department should give you the rank of Honorary Fireman for all your effort.

Now, I'll have to find out which grill it had, I think it was chrome though. But I'll check.

Wow , that is very kind of you . Funny thing is that is what the fire dept where I live did for me .They made me the 3rd only Honorary Life Time Member to there Firemen Club for all the stuff I do for free with my equipment . I believe we all should do what we can to help our Fire Dept . Tommy
