I need a backpack that will carry a Nikon D7200 with a Nikkor 200-500 lens attached plus a few wide angle lenses and will carry a tripod. Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

Take a look at Tamrac. They are well-designed,very well-made in Ogden, UT. (Started in S. California) I've had three Tamrac bags, every one was very satisfactory. Also Thinktank bags are well-thought of. They have a great backpack bag with wheels for carryon. They are pretty pricy but so are any high quality bags. You can get Lowepro for little money, but they are not in the Tamrac, Thinktank quality class.

Take a look at ClikElite Adventure Series Photography Backpacks, they are well made and some models have a external sleeve for a hydration bladder as well. Their waist belt system places the load on your hips, like a well desgned backpack should.

I am sorry that you think my question was dumb, but I thought one factor of this forum was to help others with research on products they are looking at with input on their personal experience. It was not necessary to be rude and hateful just because in your opinion the question was not up to your standards. It is too bad that a few hateful idiots are able to ruin an otherwise helpful thread.

If you select (Left Click) the person whose comments you feel were rude, you will be able to place that person on your "Ignore" list. From then on, that person will not be able to respond to any of your future posts.
