How about a square crop to help? It won't remove all of the house, but would remove a lot of it.

Crop vertical 11X17 and blur the remaining background.

Norman, cute picture, I see why you want to do a little post work to make the girl stand out more. Both the suggestions above are great options; i.e.. crop and clone, crop and blur. I am assuming that you want the girl (not the plants) to be the main subject. If so you might crop in on the girl putting her a little off center and reducing the amount of plants occupying the image, and reducing the amount of the house you have to deal with. Then you have a third option to put in a completely different background in layers. Make a duplicate layer and turn off the background one. Because the white of the house is in great contrast to the plants it is fairly easy to select and delete it. Create a new layer below the partially deleted layer. Then paste anything you want into this blank layer. Adjust size to your liking. For example you could put a wall or sky or seascape in the place where the house was.

If your interested and haven't done this before, feel free to PM me and I will be happy to work with you on it.
