Adorama does nice work with their books, though Blurb does as well. Blurb prices are much better though. They also have a pluggin feature for Lightroom if you are using it.

Zero + publishing in Pomona California does a remarkable job creating coffee table type photo journals. I have no idea what the publication criteria is. Information can be found at Kirk Pedersen.com. A fellow leaf lover, preferably submerged. With respect, kc

Thanks for your thoughtful comments. Cameras used: Sony
A-700 DSLR and Sony Alpha A-77 SLT. Most of the shots were
with my "Go To" lens, the Sony (also Tamron) 18-250 Zoom, a really superb lens at all focal lengths. Edit, crop and adjust using Paint Shop Pro X-4.
Very nice captures, I have a couple of suggestions.
Try to isolate the main subject from the brighter background with a colored background cloth were possible. You want the eye to focus on the primary subject, not to be wondering about the scene distracted by blown out backgrounds.
You have selected good lighting choices to illuminate the leaves, consider adding back lighting to enhance the veins of some leaves.
Using Aperture Priority (AP) will allow you to get the principle subject in pin sharp focus and allow the foreground and background to fall off in soft focus. This is called adjusting the Hyper Focal Range to force the eye to follow the sharper focused point of interest.
The few moments spent with in camera adjustments can save you hours of PP.
What you may not be able to correct in camera you will be able to modify with Paint Shop Pro X4. PSP now has a neat tool for adding Depth Of Field, as well as all the a fore mentioned suggestions.

rpavich held my sentiments. I too was astounded by your subjects.
As for a publisher or self publishing--BEWARE !!!
Do your research or seek a trusted site to guide you.
Find others who have gone the same route and ask their advice. There are disreputable publishers/book printers out there.

It can't be helped; like Will Rogers, I never met a leaf I didn't like. I am planning to have a high-quality book printed and would appreciate recommendations from the hedgehogs at to thier own experience with the various companies that provide this type of service. Here are some of the pictures I plan to use in the book.
I am partial to any of Natures patterns. Leaves are no exception. Your images are excellent.

Who would have thought this could have been done with leaves, colors, patterns, texture, compostion all this and you still have captured our attention with leaves. I really like the pads pallete, but they all are great. Thanks for the views.

Who would have that that you could turn boring into SUBLIME! These are absolutely amazing!
Count me in with everyone else...they are beautiful. I can see why you like leaves, you do have a way with them.

I would have. I have always loved the colors and patterns formed by leaves. These images are very nice. I would love to see your book as well. Wouldn't have thought of them as boring subject by any means.
Keep up the good work.
