It can't be helped; like Will Rogers, I never met a leaf I didn't like. I am planning to have a high-quality book printed and would appreciate recommendations from the hedgehogs at to thier own experience with the various companies that provide this type of service. Here are some of the pictures I plan to use in the book.
Dances With Leaves
Curves
Greenforms
Interlock
Ironwood Calligraphy
Pads Palette
Staghorn
Explosive Greens
Ti Colors
Green Thorns
Ok....I'm going to be blunt.
I opened this thread planning on seeing some lame out of focus shots of leaves....uninteresting and ill-composed.
Instead what I got was a pleasant surprise!
These are very VERY interesting! Well done, tack-freaking-sharp focus....GREAT exposure, great lighting, great patterns....just well done.
Seriously, I'd buy this book, I really would so keep me on your mailing list :)
I'd like to suggest something. AdoramaPix. I get my photo books printed there and they are stellar in quality, and great in price. They ship their books so that you could run over them with a tank and not hurt them....they are top notch.
Ok...since I answered you've added more and they also didn't disappoint.
Keep the quality level up to these shots in the book and you have a winner for sure.
I'm not just stroking you and I don't hand out empty compliments....these are good.
Now you've got me curious...what camera and lens did you use for these?

These are gorgeous! I'd buy the book because I'm a lover of leaves, too. Let us know when it's ready to buy, ok?!
Had never thought of selling the book (to be titled "BEYOND BELEAF") if you can't stand the pun, don't buy the book. Have no idea what to charge, as it will be at least 28 pages, and I am not sure what it will cost. Thanks for your appreciation, as I had thought my obsession might be a bit boring for most folks.

Nope...not boring at all.
To give you a price idea; I've printed 8" x 8" square books, 14 pages, hard cover at adorama and they were 23.95 with 6.0 shipping. Printed on metallic stock (very nice) deluxe lay-flat binding.
I did the 14 page ones because I had a few coupons to get them done for free.

Their price list says that a 12" x 12" 26 pages will be 83.00 to get printed...but this is the price for one-sies and two-sies...for bulk discount you have to call them.
Thanks for your thoughtful comments. Cameras used: Sony
A-700 DSLR and Sony Alpha A-77 SLT. Most of the shots were
with my "Go To" lens, the Sony (also Tamron) 18-250 Zoom, a really superb lens at all focal lengths. Edit, crop and adjust using Paint Shop Pro X-4.
oh WOW how fantastic I would love to take photos like those

Ha ha, love that title. Not boring to me at all.
That's very "Clover" of you! :)
Wonderfully gorgeous! All of them, and I too, would buy your book.
Those are really good, enjoyed that :)
Stunning photos, such clarity and detail..... Good luck if you decide to sell them...
I enjoyed all the photos very much. Your book will be awesome. : )
