Cool lens. One of my pro friends said that occasionally folks have a lens custom made by Nikon or Canon. He pointed out that on some of the shoots at Super Bowl and World series games he's done for Sports Illustrated, for example, he would have access to some long focal length glass that belonged to the magazine and that, maybe, only a handful of them were ever made. And, reportedly, NASA has some special order glass that maybe only one or two were ever made to a particular spec. Definitely not on my shopping list...
