When "things were changing" my Rollie's were rated at about 60 meg--something to keep in mind is photo paper can only accept about 250 dpi no matter what you throw at it--to get to "printing resolution somebody--you or the printer guy--is going to have to throw away a lot of your image resolution

don't think that I would have the need for that many but it sure will be interesting to see who puts them to good use and the photos they will produce

I just watched his video on predictions. He said the Canon 5d mark IV won't come out until 2017 and have 75mp. I hope not. Can you imagine editing those files. Yikes!.

I'm thinking it would be great for things like displaying in a slide show on a 4k big screen TV!

Yeah, Ken Burns effect would allow a really long zoom down into a scene!

I do slide shows on my HD TV (1080p) and really like using Ken Burns effect.

I agree, and there was just a short time ago a gap in the quality compared to film which is now bypassed and speeding ahead, I think that there will be a limit on how much a full frame can handle but, the medium frame cameras are already using that many mp. or very close to it, we will always find a way to cram more into the units, and even though I am one who not wanting or needing many of these combined things such as video I understand that these are upgrades for the multitude and that they do make life a bit easier for most. folks

Northrup's full of sh*t. How Chelsea puts up with him is beyond me.
