I took a little jaunt around the county today...didn't cross any borders, but went almost to North Dakota and even closer to Saskatchewan.

The farm you can see in the border picture is located in Saskatchewan, behind me was a farmstead in Montana. Pretty hard to tell where one country ends and the other begins. It doesn't look like the border mowing crew has been through for a while.

I was a little surprised I didn't get a visit from Homeland Security since we've got so many of them in this part of the country. But since I was on the road to someone's house when I took the picture, I imagine they don't have any remote sensors there because they'd be sending out so many false alarms.

Thanks Patrick. My favorite is the old truck. I love the colors and the rust.

Invisible Border-- no fence needed?
The old truck has seen better days but still retains a lot of character. Sign on the door says it all. Gambles.

You probably could have left off the ducks.

I like the truck too...would have like to see more of the front kind of feels cut off in the front to me but I like the colors and the angle.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I'll be stopping by the farmstead with the old truck again and trying some of your suggestions. My problem there is another, less photogenic wreck is parked about 5 feet away from the truck, limiting the angle I can get a shot from.

And Bartulius, there really is no fence at the border there, not even on the property line. I'm not sure what is there, but a few miles to the east of where I took this photo is the place where 3 borders come together. The North Dakota border is the additional boundary.
