Sure we could do our own study, and come out with real results, instead of making them up. :-P

But jenny I am quite happy to be considered odd. Keep the audience guessing is my motto.
Whats odd here is the regular contributors to chat threads have not joined in here. Could that be they are all wannabe artists and now not so sure as it may just reveal their psychotic tendencies?

We would find ourselves hopefully very short on psychopaths and knee deep in those suffering from delusions of being what they clearly are not.
Mmmm think I prefer a good ol' psychopath personally. Easier to understand than someone that's delusional.

Im glad you now realise how real my fears are of the uncharted waters one enters if considered an artist!

Maybe artists are harder to come by than we thought.
Maybe there aren't really that many of us out there after all....
It does take a bit of panache` :)

Not me bro! I much prefer the The Psychopathic Monthly delivered on the 15th of each month and Guns and Ammo which comes on the 22nd.

Great and not at all scary news, art world: A recent study published in the Personality and Individual Differences journal concluded that you may want to be wary of the artists, actors, and musicians in your life, seeing as they often share certain neuropsychological features with individuals exhibiting “psychopathic traits.”

Never forget to call Billy an artist or he will chop you up in pieces and feed you to the pigs whilst dressed in a Toga and listening to Barry Manilow on his smart phone lol

That's why it does not pay to upset Billy. You get him really mad and he subjects you to Billy Joels Greatest Hits with the extended version of Uptown Girl.

lololol artists??????????? - the least of my worries and yours. The article is bogus ... there are more worries from gangs, rapists, robbers and so many others that don't exhibit any artistic capabilities. Come on post something meaningful that relates to photography. Do you know how many esoteric studies are published everyday that I could post here?

I do not worry about them my friend the wannabe's make me chuckle so hard I have ended up on my back kicking my legs in the air gasping for breath cos Im laughing so much. Some will tell you it needs a camera a few Topaz plug ins and you read a few cobbled together publications and that's it. Your a bona fida artiste.
This may not be meaningful to snapping but it sure made a few smile so I would consider that a success huh. Loosen up bro larfin is good for you and this forum can provide it in spades if you let it.

And to think I always thought I exhibited “psychopathic traits” because I was a goalie and played minor league hockey, not because I was an artist! Not sure if I should be offended, or relieved?! ;-)

Dammit, who turned down my Barry Manilow, AGAIN?!!
