Great and not at all scary news, art world: A recent study published in the Personality and Individual Differences journal concluded that you may want to be wary of the artists, actors, and musicians in your life, seeing as they often share certain neuropsychological features with individuals exhibiting “psychopathic traits.”

Never forget to call Billy an artist or he will chop you up in pieces and feed you to the pigs whilst dressed in a Toga and listening to Barry Manilow on his smart phone lol

Did you even read the article? It does not list even one anti-social characteristic that is common.

No should I have read it young Floyd Duh
Who would want an anti social characteristic that is common? Our wannabe artists deserve more surely.

My new friend introduces me to the people she knows and always refers to me as an artist when she does. I told her not to do that because it makes people perceive you so differently, just like turning fifty....one day and suddenly I was OLD!! I asked someone else the other day if they would call me eccentric. They said yes so fast it shocked me. I can't help that I see and hear the world differently than they do, but so far no one has referred to me as psychopathic ..............
just socially maladjusted :) :)

Similar to Mrs Billy she always introduces me to family and friends with an apology as she feels I am very socially maladjusted and unlikely to improve!!!!!

Artist are always a little quirky, that is their, "Appeal!"

There are other career fields that tend to attract the largely anti-social, somewhat mentally impaired, and the dramatic manic-depressive. So, being "quirky" is not that bad..:-)

No argument from me Dave. Certainly not brave enough to argue with
"her who must be obeyed".

* * * Isn't it time artists and the rest of us hoomin beans seriously studied those weirdo psychologists who think everyone else is odd? That is the most obvious symptom they have that is very serious !!!!!
