SLR ? Maybe that's what my son had, dunno, really I wasn't properly impressed maybe because it didn't look like a SL...
or whatever the racy-looking thing is/was. Guess it takes more than a 3-blade windmill logo to impress me? Is that bad? He did have a car with a cat on the hood...now, come to think of it, the logo impressed me on that one, but guess I'm an uncomplicated person or something ? :) The old Merc I had was impressive so long ago, it was the widest thing on the road that year it came out... it was a "383" or something, they also made a "412"...now that was a real "Merc" as we undertood them....

Interesting presentation, Billy. This could almost be advert material.

I have always loved good advertising images, think they often contain the most imaginative type of work so feel quite flattered Bob.

I'm a guy so like cars generally but occasionally a car comes along that stirs the emotions lights up the soul and is just so beautiful one can look at it for hours just admiring the design. The SLR was one of those. Incredibly sleek clean lines and like a bird of prey when the doors opened and formed wings. A rich mans plaything maybe but a very handsome one and Im quite happy to pay homage to it via a rather attempt a graphic art.
And I promise you jenny an SLR is a very REAL Merc.
