Check your settings to see what your boot-up page is set to.

In explorer - click the gear icon on upper right of screen. Select 'Internet Options' - Highlight and delete "about:blank
/' Replace with the URL of the page you ant to open with. eg. http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/

i would download an run free malwarebytes an run it. sounds like you got a hijacker

Some of us like the "blank" page option when opening Explorer!

I hate waiting for a bunch or advertisement, news, or other crap to load before I can go to or search for what I really want.

So I set it to "Blank" on purpose.

🇺🇸 I recently read a story about a gals first day on her new job in an office. She told her boss she needed some plain white paper, so the boss told her to just use copier paper.

A few minutes later the boss walked past their copy room, and there inside was the new gal making copies of a blank sheet of paper! 🙄
