Snipped images from the cameramemoryspeed website. The camera body does become the bottle neck with faster cards. But, when uploading to your computer, the faster cards earn their keep.

I use the San Disk extreme 95 MB/s class 10 cards in both my 750 and 7200. I have never had a complaint with them. I know Lexar sd cards have a generally good reputation, but I have have two different Nikons literally 'lock up' with them installed. Nearly every function just froze up.
Pulling the card and inserting a San Disk resolved the problem. I use San Disk exclusively now.

I presently use a SanDisk Extreme Pro 32gb class 10 95MB/s sd card and have had no problems with it, but I am always curious if I am using the best that is available for my equipment. Any suggestions or recommendations and why, in your opinion, should I consider a change?

Sandisk and Lexar are my favorite brands. That particular Sandisk card is my top choice.

I have a Lexar 32 GB 150 MB/s card on my desk now that died after I took several hundred loon photos with it this week. I periodically reviewed them while photographing when I had time so I know it recorded them. It said "no photos" when I put it in 2 computers using 4 different card readers. Only Sandisk for me from now on. I realize all can fail but no Sandisk card ever has for me. YRMV. Good luck to you.

I have been a long time ScanDisk user but have recently switched over to Lexar. The class I use in my D7100 has a read speed of 95MB's and a write of 45 MB's. I find they work quite well. Ordered a couple of cards a few days ago from Adorama for $28.95 for the pair.

SanDisk. Anything else is a crap shoot. Always check both the read and write speeds prior to purchase.
