looking for lenses.....

Thought I would check with fellow Hoggers to see if anyone has any lenses they would like to sell before going to Ebay & such.

I am looking for Macro lens, a wide angle lens for sure & possibly a longer zoom lens. I know it needs to be an a-mount, I know I can use some Minolta lenses.

I have an a77 that I purchased in Dec of 2012. I have been using a 55-300mm Sony lens. (the only lens I have). I am very comfortable with my camera. I like the feel of it & do not plan to get rid of it or trade up in the near future - of course when that day comes, I will get another Sony. Love them! & all my lenses will work with my new Sony ;)

Thanks for your time.
Stephie

Unfortunately, most of really good legacy lenses in Sony/Minolta mount are very scarce to rare now !

All the newer Sigma lenses are NOT available in Sony A mount.
The newer Tokina lenses are NOT available in Sony A mount.

I would suggest a Sigma 17-70 as seen here http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mint-Sigma-17-70mm-F2-8-4-DC-MACRO-HSM-C-for-Sony-from-JAPAN-180-/201533307790?hash=item2eec523b8e:g:BhgAAOSw0HVWBeJS - a great lens and available in Sony.

I would look at KEH or B&H for used lenses.

I have the following three-lens outfit that I am selling from my Sony A58 that would fit your needs.
Sony DT 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 SAM II
Sony DT 50mm f/1.8 SAM
Minolta 28mm f/2.8
I am looking to get $200 for all three. If you are interested, send me a note.

I have a Minolta 135mm 1:35 Japan 49mm
I ordered this in 1989ish from a NY city store.
The box shows age from just being, but the lens has never been used and still looks like new.
My first SLR was a Minolta. It fell, with the tripod. Which is the basic reason the lens has never been used. I don't think it ever even made it on the camera.
You can let me know if you're interested.

I would get the Sony Brand 18-135mm lens to complement your 55-300mm. Those two will cover wide to far, to 300mm focal length.
