After doing a bit of lens comparison web site checking, it appears that my 17-50 2.8 comes off as way better than does the 28-75mm lens. I was very surprised to find this; as my past experience with a 28-75 was totally fine.
Anyway, then I happened to look at one of your postings of Jan. 30 where you elaborated on just how disappointed you were in your (then)recently acquired Tamron 28-75 lens.
Bottom line: Based on both of these things, I no longer wish to make the trade. In fact, I'm going to hold on to my 17-50 2.8 now, not trading it off to anyone for anything. Sorry.
