I have decided to part with my Tamron 28-75. It is a wonderful lens but I'm looking for something with a little more zoom. The lens is in great condition and has both caps, hood, and original box. I don't see any noticeable scratches or dust. I can send pictures or talk price through PM's.

Thanks.

Would you be interested in trading for a canon 18-200mm f/3.5 or a Tamron 70-300mm with vibration control which came out last summer?

Ideally I would like to sell outright so I have some money to put towards the exact lens I want, but if it doesn't sell soon I might PM you a few questions about your lens.

I took a few quick pics with my phone this morning just to show you the lens I'm selling. There is a scratch-free Hoya UV filter included. Sorry for the cruddy pics...

I wouldbe happy to send pictures and more details on either item. They are rarely used and I have the lens hoods for both and the end caps as well as uv filters. Both lenses are in excellent condition and I hadn't thought about trading or selling them until now. However, the lens you are marketing would fill a gap where I seem to shoot a large majority of my pictures and though the 18-200 is a decent vacation lens, it isn't used all that much for the landscapes and sunsets that I like to photograph. The 70-300 Tamron was a gift that I would have preferred to not have received, but it's the thought that counts, right. It is very crisp from f5.6 to f14 and has very little chromatic aberration that I can find. If you're wanting to do some long range stuff this is a pretty decent lens. I've used it with a Kenco 1.5 x focal length extender which puts it out to about 450 x the 1.6 crop factor and it does very wll on a tripod.

Ok thanks. I hadn't thought about a travel lens but I'll think it over for awhile.

There is no rush. I hadn't thought about getting rid of the lens until I saw the one you are selling. It is an EFs lens though and will not work on full frame cameras if you are planning to move in that direction. Also, it does not work with a Kenco multiplier. I want you to be aware of the limitations of the EFs lens if you aren't all ready aware of these facts. I wasn't when I got the lens and was somewhat ticked off when I couldn't use it with my multiplier.

Feel free to message me any reasonable offers. I didn't want to but I'm thinking if no one wants it here I might try ebay.
