You are welcome. I have it on my iPhone & laptop. It's an easy read and just as comprehensive as the Canon manual. I also have the manual on all my devices as a PDF. I love the 7D M II, especially for wildlife & sports.

VLC is excellent, but a note of caution regarding blu-ray disks. VLC does well with DVDs but Blu-ray disks have more sophisticated encryption and require a blu-ray player/writer. VLC can play blu-ray disks, and also do so on Windows 10, but additional codecs and capabilities are required that are not part of the standard Windows 10 capability. Even with additional software playing disks directly frequently doesn't work, they need to be copied to a hard disk first to bypass the protections which is not necessarily legal.
Don't make too many assumptions about blu-ray, it's complicated....

RRS, I have it running and watched a couple hours this morning. I have several other tapes From Michael the Maven and have never had any problems running them on the computer. I have had the 7D Mark II for several months but thought I might gain a more in depth knowledge by watching the video and I learned a few things already. He is a great instructor. bud
