Yup, years ago before all of this variety of software was available, a friend of mine and I were laid off from our rather nice positions of computer admins and programmers. Well, I didn't have a digital camera, but thought if I could scan some negatives and stitch them together, I could make a panoramic photo.
We sat down, designed the algorithm, and wrote a program to take those scanned images and stitch them. It worked very well with film and then later worked, even better, with digital. Originally the software was written to run on a Linux box. Hired for another job, and after saving money and purchasing PS. I ported the software to run on Windows. Last Labor Day, I ported the application to run on iMac.
So, to answer your question, yup, I do. Here's a sample of what it will do.

lightroomCC has a provision for panoramic images along with HDR.you can check it out, joseph
I made a
panorama to show what
photosynth.net can do.
Nothing has been stitched, which is the best part. I could have used a multi row panorama but not with the 'poor man's rig' I was using.
If you are on slow connection this will be slow... Really slow (11 captures are used, each is between 17+ to -20 mb to stay within the site requirement).
Notes:
The account used is new, under my UHH pseudo
The dedicated software refused to load on my PC for some reason (more options)
The panorama has been made last night
I posted a thread on UHH to show the
set-up (yes the nodal point is set or as nearly as I could, did not aligned reference points to verify) and a different version for displaying the panorama, after stitching (mosaic using small tiles to increase display speed).
Low light condition = high ISO (for me) and noticeable noise.

One thing that is not mentioned is panoramio (google earth) and photosynth (microsoft) Both are sites vs software but worth exploring.
Panoramio is a site for posting images on a world map isn't it? Not for creating panorama shots.
Basically, Panoramio allows you to post images that MAY be selected by Google to show up on Google Earth.
Wiki explains it.

You can upload anything, ONLY if you want it on google do you have to request the posting.

Lightroom 6 does it too now. Very easy to use and works on RAW files.
Photoshop Elements also does it I think.
I.C.E. is Microsoft, are there any issues when used on a Mac?

Big one: It is a window program so unless you have an emulator...

Of course you can upload pretty much anything, HOWEVER, the OP asked about pano stitching software, Panoramio does NOT do stitching, it is a web site that will allow your uploaded images to be selected by Google Earth. (IF you desire them to allow that).
I tried Microsoft ICE and it worked very well. However, I can't seem to figure out how to save as a JPEG and small enough to be able to play in Microsoft windows viewer( I think that's what it's called.) Other than that, the program seems to be straight forward. I tried to find a tutorial for this program but haven't had much luck. Found a PDF to download, but I'm struggling to try to download it.
