This is now a composite since I added the lamp post on the right side to justify lighting on the street car passengers. Also, I added a little bit of sepia tone. For anyone that is interested in comparing the two images here is the link to the first thread of 'Midnight Express'.

I just went back to your first post. I was only comparing the eventing mood shots and until now never realized this picture was taken during the day. I now want to give you a big hand for the pp you did. Your PP totally changed the mood of the original picture. Outstanding job.

Thank you Dave !!! I get mixed emotion between the two versions. I could go either way between them. It doesn't bother me but others seem to have a mixed feeling also and I like that. Thanks again.

Thank you Jim !!! I really appreciate your compliments. I do think when and if others see where I started from would feel as you do. Again, thank you.

Second photo has a "smokier" look to it. I actually prefer the first one and I don't mind that you can't see the light source. It is night time and could be coming from anywhere.

Me. too.

Dave, this is an excellent image, I really like it. The other image was just a nice shot, this is now a work of art. Thanks for the post and giving me something new to learn how to do.

Thank you John !!! Difference of opinions are great. Some like one over the other. Nothing wrong with that at all.

Thank you, Walt !!! If you have the time, yes, give it a try. It is time consuming though. I feel it is a learning tool. One has to learn something new through the process. If not for this type of image but maybe something of their own later.

Thank you dpullum !!! I am a Jack Nicholson fan and have not seen that film. I will have to make a point to do so. Glad you liked the photo and that it brought back a memory for you.

Prefer the second version - having the streetcars lamp on seems more correct for a night scene. Nice processing!
