Some times I just don't know which format will look the best in a shot, so I take both. Any opinions?
(Like my motto says, "When in doubt, shoot it again!")

I tend to favor the second on, with the vertical line of the water vapor. Nice images MT. 8-)

Thanks, thats precisely why I shoot things both ways quite often.
The natural light saturation at this time of morning looked superb so I just had to take this shot. Not that interesting subject-wise, but I could not resist that lighting.

Mt both are fabulous shots but I too prefer the wide angle shot. All of your yellowstone pictures taken on your current trip have been superb. Wish I could be with you and gain some of your knowledge.
