What I did for awhile was in the "Introduce Yourself" forum I made a suggestion to newbies about the various hidden forums, especially if they expressed an interest in macro, processing, long exposure, etc. Or you could pm each newbie with a link to the pp forum itself :)

That's a great idea too! Thanks!

Thank you very much, Angela! The color change was cool 'cause it was dark blue plaid to begin with, so the white stayed visible :)

Thank you so much for your terrific comments, Doc. That is result of a big crop with a gazillion edits! The moon is true, just want to make that clear - not a composite. I shot from my car very quickly, before worker saw me :)

Thank you so much, Jim. I'm terribly sorry for the loss of your wife, and hope you find a bit of comfort in photography and your UHH friends. We love you!

Another set of beauties, Linda. Enjoyed them all very much. I think the first one takes the blue, tho I might think about cropping a touch from the bottom of it, see if that strengthens an already fine image.

The worker at dawn is an interesting shot, very nicely done. The hazy moon I love, a beautiful shot, and the full moon very cool. But I still like the first one best.

Excellent work.

Thank you very much, Photopainter, so glad you enjoyed.

I'm getting to the point where fog and snow isn't quite as beautiful as it was a month ago :) Think spring!
