Thank you very much, CathyAnn. I have shot quite a few - I check the weather and the official times of sunrise and moonset each cycle. I've learned our actual moonset is 20 minutes earlier than "official" because of the hills to west :)

Your pictures capture the lovely contrast of night/day in the wee hours. Nicely framed composition and fine saturation of color. You've got the makings of a great landscape photographer if you have the traits of earlier riser and able to bear cold temps.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments! I much prefer spring and fall for early morning jaunts. Summer sunrise is far too early up here at the 47th parallel and I don't handle cold in winter well at all :)
