Before any of you go off on me, I'm NOT trying to start a conflict as to which is better. I'm just curious to find out how many share my experienced with the brand and what particular models they use.

I'm always amused at how vociferous many who shoot "OTHER" brands become when they get even a slight hint that there's a perceived slam against their favorite. Chill, my brothers and sisters. That's not what this is about. ;)

I have a k1000, k-50, k-3. Also have a canon sx 50 to play around with.

I don't and have never shot Pentax cameras, or any other brand.
Paper targets are cheaper and the range master doesn't make me clean up all the shattered pieces.

I use a K-3, a K-s2, and for fun sometimes pull out the old Kx. I really like my Pentax. Of course, I liked my Canon, Nikon, and Oly too, but they're all good.

I have an Auto 110, the smallest SLR - and it was four thirds format back in 1981 - but quit using it when 110 film disappeared. I still use the lenses.

I used my roommate Pentax KX (the 35mm film camera) back in 76 a lot. When I bought my Nikon in 77 I stopped using the Pentax.
Recently I bought a used KX and an S3 and enjoy shooting film with them. Pentaxes are very good camera in my opinion. I don't know about the current one though.

I arrived in Las Vegas today to attend the CES 2016 show this week. One of my hopes is to get more information as to Ricohs success in getting a USA Warranty center re-opened so they can release their new K-1 full frame digital. The release was delayed from last September to "Spring 2016" because dealers balked at selling the new camera with no USA warranty facility.

My current camera is a Pentax K-3 I also own a Pentax K-50 both, as you know, very good cameras. Before going with a DSLR I owned a Panasonic FZ3 and moved up to a Panasonic FZ35 which I still currently own and use occasionally. I guess you might say I like cameras with names that start with P. My reason for buying each one was to own something different from what everyone else owned......so far I haven't been disappointed in any of my choices. Now I'm waiting to see what the K-1 full frame Pentax will cost, not that I have reached the full potential of any of my cameras yet but because I want one.

I shoot only the Pentax 67, when I can get my hands on one.

I have had almost all the Pentax 35mm digital cameras, upgrading as new comes out & trading in the old. I have the K-3 & the K-3II at this time. Seem to work for me.

I started out with a K-x and now have a K-50 as well, mainly for the weather resistance . I have range of Sigma lenses and a WR 18-55 Pentax for use on the K50 in inclement weather. Very happy with all as they are great value and robust as well as taking good photos. Most of my photography is travel related.

I also have an old KM film camera from about 1976 with lenses from that era.

I doubt if I would purchase the mooted full frame.
