Oh, my goodness, your pictures are almost exactly like ours! We also left at 6AM. and saw the sun rise. And we had champaign afterwards, too. Where did you get your flight? Ours took off from Bird-in-Hand in Lancaster, PA. I love the picture with the shadow of your balloon..and I got that one, too! :)

I'm going to take an air balloon ride what lens should I buy? I have a sony a200. My budget is $1000.
I'd take only one lens. You'd otherwise be busy with your camera, changing lenses and taking care of the second one. You probably won't have a lot of room in the basket to use up either.
Hope you take the time to soak up the views. I feel envious already.
Mike.
Hi Sailorsmom,
We took off from the Netherlands Inn and Spa in Strasburg, Pa.
Sounds like we both agree: a fun trip indeed !!
Thank for your nice comments.

rent a 10.5mm lens and a good 14 to something, if you have a good tele already, that's all you'll need. better to rent than buy when doing this sort of adventure.
