It looks like it's strictly iPhone for now. Since there are more Android phones than IOS phones, I would think that a Droid app would be on the way. Can't you download the D5100 pdf file to your phone? I haven't tried, but I think that should work. If you have it on your compurter, Dropbox will let you get it onto your phone.

I get a bit impatient from time to time. I did more searching and found it at http://www.nikonusa.com/pdf/manuals/kie88335f7869dfuejdl=-cww2/D7000_EN.pdf

It is a rather big file! At least I have it now. Thanks to those responding to this "old lady".

Here's another resource for you: http://www.nikonians.org/forums/dcboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=329&page=

Here is a great place to get FREE pdf manuals for almost any electronic item - including cameras, lenses. Also some interesting reviews, etc.

The D5100 manual is on the DVD that came with the camera.

Another choice which I tried was to send the pdf to my Kindle. It isn't great because it's kinda small...but an option.

You can get the free Kindle App for you ipad if you want...but I used the free App on my iTouch.

A couple year ago I was able to down load a digital copy of a D90 camera manual. Today I wanted to do the same for a D7000. OOP's There were many manuals listed for sale at $9.00 ea but not even a hard copy for the D7000. I want a digital copy for my laptop so I don't have to lug the manual I already own around. Does anyone know where a digital copy migh be found?

On Nikon's website?
