You can't go wrong with what you did in #3, but I do like the idea Mieves had. I'm sure your friends will be pleased.

thank you :)

It seems that both #2 and #3 were much preferable.
I can say that I went to n#3 but toned down a little on the vignetting.

I am pretty satisfied with the result. My first print ever :) .And this was taken with my old Nikon D5100.

#3 has my vote...but I would say no matter they will love the sentiment and your thoughtfulness to give them such a precious gift. I know I would.

Beautiful shots all. I would combine the color in the eyes with the vignetting on the background but get rid of the red color in the collar. They are all fine images. Whatever you decide to go with...a very thoughtful gift!

hi all,

Lately I have not been able to care much about photography. And I found myself in the position of making a Christmas gift to a good friend of mine and his wife. Their dog died just before the summer, and I have a picture I want to print out for them. So I had to fiddle a little with a picture I have. I really just cant decide which one they would like better. So I turn to you fellow hogs. :)

I wish I could do something about the white background, but it was a very snowy day when I took the picture. So I have three suggestions I would like have an opinion on. :)

All creative critiques and advice would be great. I just want to make a gift they would love to have hanging on the wall.

I already decided this will be printed on a A2 size canvas (42.0 x 59.4cm, 16.53 x 23.39 inches) and they are cropped, hopefully correct.

cheers
Catalin
