I think it's amazing. I agree about toning down the glow from the wall lights. That was the first thing that hit me. However, I'm willing to bet that your mom gets very emotional when she sees her gift! You did a beautiful job, Don!

Thanks Pix, glad you like. I did tone down the lights just a tad, but, everyone needs to realize this will be printed on canvas and what looks bright on the computer gets really muted when printed. You have to allow for about a 15-20% press gain.

Just wanted to thank all my fellow Hoggers for your insight and suggestions. All suggestions were taken into consideration as some were obvious. As to lightening the sconces, I did by about 20%, but I won't go any further as I will most certainly lose it to press gain when it prints on canvas.

Here is the final: http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-354031-1.html

I am most pleased with this and I'm sure my mom will love it. BTW, if any of you know her, your sworn to secrecy!

Thanks again

Don, I have been traveling and just came across this amazing post processing work. No need to make any comments as others have pretty much covered it. This is really nicely done.

Thanks Mike, I'm sure she will as well. She probably thinks I forgot about it.
