I agree, tripod helps stabilize and get sharper shots. But light was bad so I don't know if a tripod would have helped a lot at 1/800 sec. A proper shutter speed would have ISO through the roof, which would destroy a sharp shot anyway.
I'm lucky I got that one handheld and panning at 600mm on a moving object.
My comment was referring to the other shots. I just like the deer running the best. :thumbup:
Using the Tamron 150-600mm. All at 600mm and most cropped severely at 1:1. In the last few days of November, the east coast of the US has been very warm, bringing much activity among wildlife.
