Dennis extended permission for me to post this image. I owe gratitude for his allowance.

The original displays a wonderful eye. There are a few changes made that are to be taken as part of my own experience in a darkroom. Although not exactly as I could have done with with burning/dodging tools and above print glass masks but it is close.

One may or may not care for this interpretation. However, saying this brings to mind Ansel's comment about the negative being the score and the printer the conductor. That's true even with today's digital processes. However, this does not give license to wild off-the wall interpretations such as seen in the PP section of this forum.
