Ya'll are showing me stuff in software I know nothing about. Alien Skin? What is that? It's interesting, not really like HDR but something different. Did it do those cool corners too, or did you do that in something else?

Alien Skin Exposure is not all that well known and underrated min. Its a one click fix with some useful adjustments built in. Its specialty is a whole heap of presets that would make your little oly images look exactly like old roll film or various slide films. And it does the cool edges as well.

I don't take pictures of vehicles unless they're old and broken down, and then I don't really know what to do with them. This old wreck that I came upon in the Pennsylvania woods was irresistible, so I had to try. Comments and suggestions appreciated.

I very much like this photo. The perspective is great. The colors are wonderful. I like the lighting very much - the light where life is abundant; the dark where death is nigh. (Sorry, Billy!) I can see lots of opportunities, not for me, for further way out pp, if one wished. The only thing that bothers me, and I'm not sure if anything can be done, is that arc of yellow branch over the left side of the roof. I know that tree is there, but I was wondering if a better differentiation could be made between the yellow and the car. Maybe not. Maybe a slight move on taking the photo? Maybe only a chainsaw?

Oh how I wish I had this near me, I would spend hours with this beauty. This is my attempt at playing around.

Thanks for the info. I like the old film effects in the Analog section of the NIK filters. I love creative edges especially in my texture experiments but am not good at making them up myself.

Thanks Edie! I have dozens of shots of this old thing, from all different angles, so no chainsaw required! I have had occasion to yearn for one though, treehugger though I am.
