Beautiful, excellent captures! Congratulations on a job well done.
Makes me wish for one of those. I have not so good telescope, but maybe one of these days...

Thank you very much Doug. You never know Christmas is on it's way.
Every telescope is a fun scope. We all started out with small ones.

Sonny, thank you very much it's all in the guiding. I've always thought "I don't need no sticking guiding".
Saturday's alignment went so perfect, from Polaris thru 2 Star to Polar Alignment.

PHD has made a world of difference for me, now that it is working well.
I just couldn't figure it out before spending a couple of days setting, testing, and confirming.
Now.... if I could run my camera, and focus decently.
I've still got a long way to go... :?

Yes Sonny my problem too is focusing.
I have Focus Mask and I have to learn how to use it.
My friend Jon showed me on his setup how to use it.
Now clear skies are coming so it's practice time.
If you don't have one here is a link on how to use it.

Thanks Craig. Yep, I have my home made version, and it works as prescribed. (Very well, actually.) I found a 100mm version worked best for my needs, for the way I made my slip collar holder for it.
When I remember to use it.....

Watched the video to see if it had anything new to learn.
Not for me, but may help others who come across it.

I'm glad I checked my Watched Topics....
You reminded me to get the darn thing out.
So it is setting here in front of me.
Maybe, just maybe, I will remember to use it now....

Thanks for the reminder.
   :?
