Interesting that the article mentions the subject of debt and deficits but fails to mention that the current occupant of the White House, the erstwhile community organizer has incurred more debt for this country than all the presidents combined before him. -Science displaced the Bible with Science as a much more reliable search for the t***h
-Some Christian's - notably the Christian 'Right' (who are in fact 'wrong') do not accept science and label anybody who does as "liberals"

Wrong, and unthoughtful. Science is not a guess. There are theories still to be proved. However, there is much that has been tested and retested for a hundred years and more--those are not guesses!

Does water freeze at 32 degree F? Is that a guess?

Is the speed of light, theorized, tested and retested, a firm figure? Do you have another speed to suggest? Can you prove it?

The scientific method includes the hypothesis, a suggestion of what might be right, the theory, a tested and repeatedly tested hypothesis, and what is extablished at settled theory (which no longer qualifies as theory) which is scientific fact as we understand it.

Upon this basis, we chart the heavens, prove that heavenly bodies are all moving away from each other--that is, the universe is expanding at a frightful speed--we have antibiotics that have saved millions (the polio vacine, for example) we have placed men on the moon and brought them home again, and on and on.

These are not the 'best guesses,' but established and repeated and dependable Fact.

Gradually, we learn the way the world works, we gradually understand it, we gradually improve the lives of humanity.

It can be done, suffering occasional error or misunderstanding, reaching rich success for all.

It ain't all a guess.
