They have them here at London Drugs for $1250 Canadian and there not off
Market . Straight from nikon with all the warranties and what ever else comes with them . and this is Canadian $$ the difference in money from USA cash is in your so you save another 10 percent or more . Every one of these stores
Has a big camera section . There all over Canada since 1965 . I don't know if there in the USA . ?

London Drug website has them listed at $1599.99 and they say that is reduced from their regular price of 1649.99. This is consistent with my information on Nikon's Canadian pricing. Don't forget about the gst and the BC pst.

42nd street phot advertises a Nikon d810 for about $800 less than everyone else. I called them and they swear its a US camera. I dont believe them AND they were very nasty on the phone. id stay away from them.

This is at nanaimo and Courtney b.c. $1350 two weeks ago. Pst and gst around Ten percent for both .

With Best Buy being an Authorized Nikon Dealer, there is no way they could be selling this lens, at that price, without violating Nikon's pricing guidelines. There had to be a major screw up at that store where you purchased it, which was good for you. Best Buy is held to Nikon's pricing policy, just like any other Authorized Nikon Dealer.

Look at my post last Monday "Nikon 80-400 at Best Buy". There is a posted image of the price tag. The Nikon 16-35 was also on sale for $816.99, a reduction of S443.00. Strange, and good.

Had to be a mistake or not the new version. There is not enough dealer markup to cut the price that much.

Maybe a mistake, but it it the AF-S 80-400 mm F4.5-5.6 G ED VR that sells for $2699.99, and I paid $1483.99. I am not making this up.
I also paid $816.99 for the $1259.99 16-35 mm f4 ED VR.

Is the newest version at $2,699 a VR II? I thought they brought a new one out. Anyway, I have the old VR version (not even AF-S) and it is fine. Use it all the time and I paid $1,899 for that one. So, whatever version you got, you still got a deal.
