I am just glad to get pics of one of them. They were heading down river to Charleston, WV where they will be docked for a week or so. :D

I have come to the conclusion and I am pretty sure the one I saw today is the Pinta. ;)

they are so smaller than what i thought they would be...neat shots and an enjoyable thing to see.

Good shots. I enjoy touring ships of various kinds such as an old whaling ship at Mystic Seaport CT and tall ships that come to Cleveland's harbor.

Great shots MissStephie, love the vantage point. It's amazing that they sailed ships like this across the oceans, with very little knowledge of where they were going and the conditions they encountered

Lovely shots, Stephie, and what a beautiful ship. We saw the Nina when it was here several years ago, and what a wonderful experience it was.

The Nina is the most historically accurate replica of a Columbus ship ever built.
They hold tours where they port - it's pretty cool to see one. Amazing these lil' things crossed the oceans back in the day.

Very nice shots.
In Edmonton, Alberta at the Huge enclosed West Edmonton Mall, supposedly one of the largest, there is a Lagoon where they have Dolphin shows.
In the corner is a full size replica of the Santa Maria. Here are a few links:
