And you will need all of the RAM you can get....16gig is a good starting point.
Look at higherend laptops. i5 minumum procesor, and preferably i7, current generation.

Does anyone understand what the "quote reply" button does? This thread is rapidly deteriorating by the the failure to use that button. And by the failure of anyone actually explaining why they think a laptop is better.
