RI greet the Honor Flights that come in to DC so the vets can see their Memorials. Most at this time are WWII vets at this time. They always make light of what they did. Sadly, we are losing many of them on a daily basis. We are getting more and more Korean War vets now and some Vietnam Nam vets. I love how they are treated like kings for a day!

I was with the 101 Airborne from 1965-1967

Yep been there done that. Thanks for all that have gone, me well the VC didn't like me so kicked me outta the country, left the hardcore in Mar of 69 out of Can Tho.

Huey Crew Chief for 7 years, with 18 months (Mar 66 - Sep 67) in SVN and 3 years (69-71) in FRG ...

Yep, took me to work and brought me back, only to come home and be hated by our own countryman. Today's veterans enjoy all sorts of services and gratification. Kinda stinks, and that's why I don't donate to any of there causes. Sorry just a little bitter.
