I quit back in 1987, but I have to admit, I love it when someone lights up near me and gives me a dose of second hand smoke. It's like bumping into an old friend.

My mother and father were both smokers. My first husband was a heavy smoker. We lived in a small house and he smoked all morning, then he went to work in the afternoon. When he left, I missed the smoke. I became addicted to the second hand smoke. But I didn't start smoking. My sister and her husband were both heavy smokers. My sister died in 2004 from cancer. It was such an ugly death. Her husband is now on oxygen 24/7 and is very weak. He gets out of his recliner to go to the bathroom and to eat his meals. I don't preach about it, but if you ask me about it, I will certainly tell you what I think about it.
I quit a 25 yr habit in 1979 Best thing I ever did for myself

I just though he was laying down on the job. Last year we went to 4 funrals in 10 months. Three from lung cancer. This year only one so far also of lung cancer. My dad smoked three packs a day till they put him in an oxagen tent. Then he quit.My father inlaw quit when they went to 50 cents a pack. But too late. He also died with lung cancer. I for one never smoked. Liked to smell cigar & pipe smoke, but thats as close as I got.

From a non smoker tobacco is such a disgusting smell ..... but the smell of smoking ribs is out of this world
Then we would have the Mexican Tobacco Cartels to deal with.
