It strikes me as a study in color, light and motion. However, it needs to be cropped to get rid of all the grass, that which is in focus and that which is not. Probably cut off the left third and the bottom half and you have an interesting abstract. It is not a matter of yes or no but needs work to fulfill potential.

I like it but agree with the rest about the grass in the lower right. If you cropped this out, you would lose a lot of the overall picture. Sometimes, a photo doesn't have to "mean" anything or have a center of interest. Sometimes you have to look at a photo for more then a couple of seconds to see what the photographer saw. Yes it is art, isn't any photo considered art?

I try to visualize a picture too, sometimes.....where there really isn't one. I don't see one here, but that's just me.

I agree with frjack.

A great play with color and light-- No point of focus suggests it is a NO from me--but one can see what the lens can do...which I think was your goal?

Although interesting, it does say boo-boo a little too loud for comfort. You could, however, take this into post processing and get a little crazy with it and make a piece that could be called art. It has potential and I do like the idea, after all.

It has possibilities but it's too cluttered for me. I like one strong subject and not so much in the background. For me any out of focus should be behind the subject, not in front.

Not so much for me--it needs a center of interest.

Was trying out a different lens and took this shot to check detail capabilities. The colors of the stones and in the water are from bright morning sunlight reflected under the tree canopy. My eye did not see these colors, the camera did. Minor pp, brightness, contrast, touch of sharpening.

I think there is a log going on in this photo. A really tight crop of the leaf and some of the smaller stones might be more interesting? Not sure.
