Confusion can be fun. And so can exposing and then studying internet fakes.
I got suspious when I noticed the "wing break" was so neat and smooth, Like a carrier plane had just had it's wing dismounted. Then I started to understand why the camera person seemed to be such a klutz at following the plane and keeping it in frame. It was so the aircraft change could take place. Also the background voices seemed to be a bit too calm for what was going on.

I'll bet the people who made it knew of the F-15 incident and counted on that to incline people to "suspend their disbelief" as the movie industry saying goes.
