Oops. Sorry for the double post.
Local car show I'm thinking about going to
Working on 2nd cup of coffee, raining - think this is going to be one of those lazy, couch potato weekends. Sounds good to me.
I keep a small notebook with me and jot down any locations and subjects I might want to photograph, depending on the weather conditions and my schedule. So far I have three pages worth.
I have a close photographer friend who shoots school pictures and weddings almost exclusively. He has been at it for decades. He does absolutely beautiful work, spending an inordinate amount of time in postprocessing, putting together albums, soothing distraught couples, and trying to get paid the contracted amount. His life is hell and he hates his job. Once in a while I direct him to commercial work and it's like he is in heaven. After watching him, I would never ever take on a wedding, Never ever! I think I would resort to digging ditches first.

Good for you. The Bluebonnets are in bloom now.
Get some bike riding in with my bicycle as it is supposed to start clearing up after almost a week of clouds and rain and maybe shoot some more outdoor photos.

Well I'm off to the beach and maybe the zoo on Sunday.
Well, I'm down in Montevideo, camera in one hand, Margarita in the other.
I hope to escape the cold and pollen for a few days.

I see by your location that you are from Frostbite Falls Mn. Great little town been there many times. It's just north of Lake Wobegon, right, or am I thinking of some place else
