I like your composition very much, and the b&w conversion is lovely. The window covering distracts me, though. I'd like to see it darker or with some manmade :) texture so that it doesn't pop out as the first thing my eye is drawn to.

Thank you for your kind comment and suggestion, Linda. Greatly appreciated. I will try to darken that window covering, but not quite sure how to do that. If I have any success at all without screwing it up, I will re-post.

Hi Linda. How is this? The window is a bit darker, but not sure if that takes away the distraction.

Looks like I get to be the holdout for the opposing side. I really like the second version of this print. I think the slight touch of green adds depth to the image without overpowering the B&W.

Thanks, Picdude, for looking in and making a comment. Much appreciated. I'm glad you like that other version, as it does have some appeal.

Well, I guess I'm going to stick my nose out and be the oddball here. There are both good, but #2 stands out to me. I can see many more details and added depth in #2 because of the coloring.

Nice photos--both versions, but I lean toward the one with a little color in it.

Thanks, BIPISTER, for the comment. I like the spalsh of color as well. There was one other person who also liked it, and my wife preferred that version as well.
