I prefer the pure black and white to the selective color. Nice composition.

I drawn more to the black and white version. It's nicely composed, and the exposure and treatment bring out a great deal of detail.

I prefer the B&W, the color version looks unnatural

Is there a spot in that old town that you could set up and do a panorama with all the buildings in it?

Thank you for your comment, bobmcculloch. Much appreciated. And I agree with you about the B&W. But, my wife liked the splash of color, so I had to include it. :|

Unfortunately, there is not a spot where I could get more than a couple of buildings in, even with a wide angle. The houses and remaining buildings are spaced far enough apart as I think it may look a bit odd. But if I get down that way again in the near future, I will give it a try. Never hurts.

I like your composition very much, and the b&w conversion is lovely. The window covering distracts me, though. I'd like to see it darker or with some manmade :) texture so that it doesn't pop out as the first thing my eye is drawn to.
