It takes awhile to get the rhythm of this forum. You jumped in when you should have waited to figure it out. Let me help:

a. he is admitting he has a problem buying gear (constant upgrades)
b. others are chiming in because they know exactly what that feels like
c. you just pooped on everyone

There are quite a few bantering posts on this forum...best to just stay out of the ones that don't tickle your fancy.

I had numerous non-DSLR over the years beginning with the Olympus D500 L and D600 L, probably more than I can remember.

My first DSLR 13 years ago was a Fuji S2 and went on to:

D70
DX2
D90
D300
D700
D7100
and even
Canon 20D
5D II

Every one of them was a winner.

Currently with D800E and D810.

Edit: I left out the D40x.

Let's see if I can top that.

Mamiya 6 (6 x 4.5 folder).
Leicaflex SL.
Nikon Df.

Uh, no.

I understand the GAS syndrome. My first DSLR was the Nikon d40x, loved that camera and learn a lot with it. Next was the Nikon d3100, followed the d5100 and currently the d7100. Also several lenses along the way plus the kit lenses that came with the bodies. Tripods (2) monopod and assorted filters for the assorted lenses. This disease also extends to other stuff, like Guitars. It's a good thing I have an understanding wife. Also, I don't believe there is any known cure.

Probably not. 24 mp is enough for my needs. It is amazing that we have gone from barely 1 mp to 50+ mp in 15 years. Ho much farther can this go?

Nah, I thought it was a worthless post as well. There is nothing to glean from it. Others I am sure could post a bigger list including tripods, lenses, filters, bags, etc. But that would just be stupid. Who wants to admit they are stupid... Oh I forgot, that is usually a prerequisite in posting , including my self in posting a reply.

Want to really experience GAS? Look at Leicas. I sold my Harley Davidson V-ROD to fund my Monochrom and lenses.

I had a V ROD but would never sell it for cameras, but I would do the opposite.
