Hi:

Anyone had any experience (or thoughts) re the Sigma 10 - 20 mm for Nikon. It seems my GAS may be leaning in that direction

I have the Sigma 10-20 f/4-5.6 HSM. It's very sharp with good contrast. There is noticeable barrel distortion at 10mm, but that is common with ultrawides, and it goes away quickly when you zoom. I'm very happy with mine, and I recommend it.

Thanks Mark,

I think my gas moved that way a bit :)

I have had one for several years, always happy with it, after I purchased the Nikon 16-85mm, I noticed that I seldom used it! I still would not sell it, if that says anything!

Excellent lens, used by probably half of all Real Estate photographers. This was the lens that got me started in shooting homes for RE agents, now I use the faster Tokina.

Got it. Love it. Permanently affixed to my D90.

I use it on my Canon for real estate jobs. Works like a charm.

Ditto!~ Mine is on a D3100 and stays in the bag along with a Tamaron 18-270, a Nikkor 50 mm 1.8 and the kit 18-55. Crisp lens at a fraction of the Nikon WA lenses...great reviews (except for Rockwell, who ignores Sigma anyway)

Got it myself for those times I needed a wider angle shot. Distortion can be corrected in post.
