I like the variety of textures and complementary colors.
This image really holds my interest.

What camera model do you use?
Nikon D3000
Your D3000 is quite similar to my D5000 pictured above in my macro set-up. I purchased on eBay for $200, a refurbished (new, but previously sold) Nikon SB-600. Other similar size speedlights can also be used.
I'll keep an eye out for one I can afford, but it will probably be awhile before I can bring myself to fork out the money for one. :P

Those are very nice. Really like the colors and composition of #1. The background is nice also.

Very nice shots, Country's Mama!!
Nikonian72, I was considering one of the O-Flash units, to eliminate having to have a dedicated flash for macro work. I've seen some with that unit, and I'm impressed. Any recommendations for a real nice Macro lens for a D7000?

I am a big believer in same manufacturer for camera and lens. I use a Nikkor 105G on my Nikon D5000, with an O-Flash mounted on a Nikon SB-600 Speedlight.

I have read about other good macro lenses by Sigma and Tamron, but I have no experience with either.
