I agree with your discerning eye - all that green stuff on the right should stay.
It is a loverly photograph! Very warm and nostalgic.
By the way, how does one use those little circle thingys on the left?

Bingo ....... we were talking about to different pieces of greenery, glad we got that figured out.
I was referring to the little, but long piece of grass on the upper left, to me it is a distraction to the rest of the beautiful picture. Love the greenery on the right side, it creates more interest.
When I do my PP I typically eliminate anything that is a distraction from the subject .....

Are you talking about the flags on the mailboxes? You turn the flag up when you place outgoing mail in the box so the postman knows and doesn't just throw a bunch of mail on top of it.
