Thanks for a great start, Pat. I am still working my amaryllis. They are so beautiful, but of course they don't last, so I am making the best of it while I can. The rain theme is right on target. It has rained all weekend and is expected to rain all week through next weekend.

The amaryllis looks splendid dressed in crystal water pearls! Just beautiful.

A little after the rain and a little fog

Artar, what a great series. Especially unique is the island in the fog with the flag pole - perfectly mirrored. Like the delicate flowers (?columbine) with the raindrops.

Love shooting in the fog. Thanks, Pat.

Every one of these is a winner, Ed. Fog is a wonderful natural softening filter.

Focusing on fog...If you don't have fog, see what you can do with editing filters. (none of these were done with filters)

No rain, no fog , but I did find a huge puddle yesterday with ducks in it, but I think this melted water might be more aptly defined as a 'lawn pond' as it might be a bit larger than puddle size. a few ducks were enjoying themselves in this large lawn puddle.

Good Morning Pat! Thank you so much for hosting! And what beautiful examples! Love them all...especially #2's POV and the rain on the windshield. It is going to start raining here at Chattanooga this afternoon and will continue until we leave on the 16th...so I will work hard at finding new things to photograph! :-) These were taken at Lafayette's campground. Not a lot of fog, but enough to create a mood. Have a wonderful day! Looks like a lot of great photos coming in!
Hugs from Tennessee!

My Driveway in the fog. This was taken a few years ago. We are supposed to get a change in the weather tomorrow. Hope to capture something recent in the next couple of days.

p2.

Clicker - you’re in a fog, Ha Ha. A beautiful one, though. Thanks for comments and “safe journey”

twna - great to see you. Your Foggy Lane appears to go into “forever”. Like the lines.

artar - #2 iris (or is it a “white flag”?) is so beautiful with the rain pearls on it.
